Make the Diagnosis: Donโ€™t Worry, Baby

ทฌวัษ็ว๘ MedicalToday

Presentation

A mom brought her 14-month-old daughter to the pediatrician after noticing a linear lesion that was developing on her face. She was sure it had not been present at birth, so she was a little concerned about what it might be even though it didnโ€™t seem to cause her daughter any discomfort. It was a slightly yellow verrucous scaly plaque that seemed to cause hair loss where it met her hairline.
